Background Information
Oral and maxillofacial surgery requires up to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training. As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Rafetto manages a wide variety of problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. He practices what is known as the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery with expertise including reconstructive jaw surgery, bone grafting, and wisdom tooth removal. He can also diagnose and treat facial injuries and performs a full range of dental implant procedures.
Dr. Rafetto’s staff is trained in assisting with office procedures including the administration of I.V. anesthetics within our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after all such procedures.
Surgical Staff
The surgical staff includes an experienced registered nurse and two surgical assistants, all of who are certified Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical assistants and CPR and AED certified. They assist in all office surgeries and understand the importance of providing excellent care in a friendly environment. Of course, all of our staff members are CPR certified.
